i-translational neuroscience

Industrial Translational Neuroscience. Neuroscience is among the most rapidly developing branches of science and medicine, with the last decade bringing a rapid accumulation of information concerning all aspects of brain function, especially as it pertains to human behaviour in health and disease. Promising applications of this expanding knowledge are only now being realized. The burgeoning field of translational neuroscience bridges the gap between basic neuroscience and its clinical applications, and now i-translation neuroscience is providing a similar function between neuroscience and industry where knowledge of brain/mind function can assist in many aspects of human interactions with marketed products  – from iPhones to face creams.
